Clarification Text for Employee Candidates in Job Applications

This clarification text, in the process of evaluating the suitability and competencies of the employee candidates regarding the relevant job position, pursuant to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“PDPL”), Ulusal Elektronik Teknolojileri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” or “Ulusal Electronics”), has been prepared and presented for your information in order to fulfill its obligation to inform.
Labor Law No. 4857, Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098 m. According to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 419, 6698 and the relevant legislation;

Processing Methods of Your Personal Data, Legal Reasons and Purposes

Regarding your personal data, the establishment of the employment contract and the execution of the eligibility and competency assessment processes; Your CVs received/sent via Kariyer.net, secret.cv websites or LinkedIn platform and/or sent to our contact e-mail addresses via our company’s corporate website are processed in electronic and physical environments within the scope of interview processes.
Your personal data obtained by the above-mentioned methods are processed within the framework of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL and in line with the basic principles of personal data protection law.

Sharing Your Personal Data with Third Parties

Your personal data, within the scope of evaluating your suitability and competence for the job, the parties with whom our Company cooperates, legally authorized public institutions and private individuals, the people you refer to within the scope of the reference checks, only the specified data processing and determining whether there is a suitable position for you, to be a suitable position In case of employment, it can be transferred to our group company Makroteknik Elektronik ve Bilişim Ticaret Limited Şirketi for recruitment and assignment purposes and will only be processed in a limited and measured manner for these purposes.

Storage and Disposal of Your Personal Data

Your personal data collected during the recruitment process will be carefully and confidentially processed by our Company in order to determine your work inclination, and will be stored electronically and physically for a maximum of six (6) months to be evaluated in the same or similar job positions.
Only authorized persons within our Company will be able to access your data, provided that they are connected for recruitment purposes.
Upon the expiration of the stipulated period, your personal data will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the relevant provisions of the PDPL, the “Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data” and our Company Policies.

Your Rights as Data Owner

If you submit your requests regarding your rights stated below in writing* as a data owner, your requests will be evaluated and concluded as soon as possible and in any case within 30 (thirty) days.
In accordance with Article 11 of the PDPL, your rights as a related person are as follows:
Learning whether your personal data is processed or not,If your personal data has been processed, requesting information about it,
To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose,
Learning the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, in the country or abroad,
To request correction of your personal data in case of incomplete and/or incorrect processing and to notify the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data in the event that the reasons requiring processing are eliminated, although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the PDPL and other relevant laws, and requesting the notification of the transaction made within this scope to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person himself by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
Requesting the compensation of your damages in case you suffer damage due to the processing of your personal data in violation of the PDPL.
*Detailed information on how and through which channels the written applications will be sent to us is as follows:
In case of personal application; Written application shall be made to the Company’s address, Istanbul World Trade Center A3 Blok K:13 No:403-404 Yeşilköy / Istanbul, by writing “Information Request Under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data” on the envelope.
If an application is made by sending a notification through a notary public;
Written application shall be made to the Company’s address, Istanbul World Trade Center A3 Blok K:13 No:403-404 Yeşilköy / Istanbul, by writing “Information Request Under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data” on the envelope.
In case of applying as a signed document via e-mail;
Written application shall be made to the kvkk@ulusalelektronik.com e-mail account, by writing “Personal Data Protection Law Information Request” in the subject line of the e-mail.
In addition, after the other methods to be determined by the Board are announced, our Company will announce how the applications will be received through these methods.
